Concrete work in Montclair
Most of Montclair was built out in the decades after World War II, which means a large share of the city's concrete is original to the house. Sixty and seventy year old driveways poured thin over uncompacted base do not respond well to patching — the slab has usually cracked into pieces that move independently, and grinding one high spot just moves the trip hazard somewhere else.
